2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

The 2018 Chevrolet Silverado full-size pickup truck lineup is available with a number of features engineered for serious towing, including the available NHT max trailering package, which features a 9.76-inch rear axle, heavy-duty rear springs, revised shock tuning, enhanced cooling and an integrated trailer brake controller to optimize capability and comfort when trailering.

The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 offerings include regular cab, double cab and crew cab body styles -- all offered with 4WD. Silverado 1500's 12,500-pound maximum trailering rating tops the segment for crew cab models.

A muscular front-end design with bold horizontal elements and a sculpted hood creates a wide, aggressive stance. Each model projects strength and capability.

New for the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado are: Cajun Red Metallic and Havana Metallic exterior colors; the eAssist package is now offered on LTZ in addition to LT; Tire pressure monitor system now includes tire fill alert; Rear-vision camera is now standard on all models; and MyLink 7-inch radio system is now standard on WT model.

Silverado's trio of EcoTec3 engines (285-horsepower, 4.3L V-6; 383-horsepower, 5.3L V-8, 420-horsepower, 6.2L V-8) is designed for the needs of full-size truck customers. Each features direct injection, Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) and continuously variable valve timing to make the most of power, torque and efficiency across a broad range of operating conditions.

Chevrolet's standard Teen Driver feature encourages safe driving habits with teenagers, enabling parents to view the vehicle's maximum speed, distance driven and the number of times active safety features were engaged during a drive.
